We provide essential food, feed and fuels to the world through sustainable solutions, from farmer to consumer. This helps communities prosper and strengthens global food security.
We have built relationships with farmers and customers for over 100 years and are now the world’s largest oilseed processor.
We value our partnerships with farmers to help discover new markets for their products and improve the productivity and environmental efficiency of agriculture. We are agile, efficient and data driven. Our excellent connection with farmers and customers clearly demonstrates the value we place on our relationships.
As the industry and the world around us evolve, Bunge continues to innovate to deliver solutions that reflect the need for essential products and sustainable solutions.
The principal agricultural commodities that we source are oilseeds, primarily soybeans, rapeseed, canola, and sunflower seed, and grains, primarily wheat and corn.
We also refine and fractionate palm oil, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and shea butter, and blend and refine olive oil. These raw materials are mostly agricultural commodities that we either produce or sustainably purchase from third parties.
Our integrated, global operations involve purchasing, storing, transporting, processing, selling and distributing agricultural commodities and commodity products to domestic and export customers. We also provide financial, risk management and logistics services.
We process oilseeds into vegetable oils and protein meals, principally for the food, animal feed and biofuel industries. The products we make are used to produce animal feed, make cooking oils, margarines, shortening and plant-based proteins and in the biodiesel industry.
Our balanced global footprint - which spans six continents and includes grain elevators, oilseed processing plants and strategically located port terminals - has a particularly strong local presence in the three largest soybean oilseed producing countries in the world: the US, Brazil and Argentina. Approximately 36% of our processing capacity is located in South America, 26% in North America, 23% in Europe and 15% in Asia-Pacific.
The initiative will be implemented across ~615,000 acres in the Central-West and Southern Brazil...
