Alberto Weisser
CEO and Chairman of the Board, Bunge Limited
Alberto Weisser is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bunge Limited.

Mr. Weisser joined Bunge as its Chief Financial Officer in July 1993. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1999 and Chairman and CEO in May 2001. He has served on Bunge’s Board of Directors since May 1997. Mr. Weisser is also a board member of International Paper, Rabobank’s North American Agribusiness Advisory Board and the Council of the Americas. He is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations.

Mr. Weisser has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He has also attended INSEAD’s Management Development Program.

Prior to joining Bunge, Mr. Weisser worked for the BASF Group for 15 years in Brazil, Germany, the U.S.A. and Mexico.


Drew Burke
co-CEO, Bunge Global Agribusiness
Mr. Burke serves as the co-CEO of Bunge Global Agribusiness.  He joined Bunge Limited as managing director, soy ingredients and new business development in January 2002.

He previously served as U.S. CEO of Degussa, a German chemical concern that he joined in 1983. Mr. Burke held a variety of finance and marketing positions at Degussa and also served as the Executive Vice President of its U.S. Chemical Group.  Mr. Burke previously worked for Beecham Pharmaceuticals and Price Waterhouse & Company.

He is a graduate of Villanova University and earned an M.B.A. from Manhattan College.

Jacqualyn A. Fouse
Chief Financial Officer, Bunge Limited
Ms. Fouse is the Chief Financial Officer of Bunge Limited.  In July 2007, she joined Bunge Limited from Alcon, Inc. where she also served as CFO.

Ms. Fouse has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Strategy, at Alcon since 2006, and as SVP and CFO since 2002. She joined Alcon from SAirGroup, where she was CFO from 2001 to 2002. Previously, she held a variety of senior finance positions at Alcon and its majority owner Nestlé SA. She worked at Nestlé from 1993 to 2001, serving as Group Treasurer from 1999 to 2001. She worked at Alcon from 1986 to 1993 and held several positions, including Manager Corporate Investments and Domestic Finance.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Fouse worked at Celanese Chemical and LTV Aerospace and Defense. She earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Jean-Louis Gourbin
CEO, Bunge Europe
Mr. Gourbin was appointed CEO of Bunge Europe in January 2004.

He joined Bunge from the Danone Group, serving since 1999 as president of the company's biscuits and cereal products division.

Previously, Mr. Gourbin worked for more than 15 years with the Kellogg Company, eventually becoming president of Kellogg Europe.  He has also held positions at Ralston Purina and CPC.

Mr. Gourbin holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in economics from the Sorbonne.

Archie Gwathmey
co-CEO, Bunge Global Agribusiness
Mr. Gwathmey serves as the co-CEO of Bunge Global Agribusiness.

He joined Bunge in 1975 as a trainee, and has over 25 years of experience in commodities trading and oilseed processing. During his career with Bunge, Mr. Gwathmey has served as the managing director of the international marketing division and the head of the U.S. grain and oilseed processing divisions. He has also served as a director of the National Oilseed Processors Association.

Mr. Gwathmey graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in classics and English.

Carl Hausmann
Managing Director, Global Government and Corporate Affairs, Bunge Limited
Mr. Hausmann is Managing Director, Global Government and Corporate Affairs for Bunge Limited. He coordinates Bunge’s government affairs, corporate sustainability and community relations on a global level.

Previously, he was CEO of Bunge North America, CEO of Bunge Europe and CEO of Cereol S.A. before its acquisition by Bunge in 2002. He started his agribusiness career at Continental Grain, where he served in leadership roles in North America, South America, Africa and Europe.

Mr. Hausmann is a past president of Fediol, the European association of oilseed crushers. He received a B.S. in business from Boston College and an M.B.A from the INSEAD.


Raul Padilla
CEO, Bunge Argentina
Mr. Padilla joined Bunge in 1991 and is CEO of Bunge Argentina.

He has over 20 years experience in the oilseed processing and grain handling industries in Argentina, beginning his career with La Plata Cereal in 1977.  Mr. Padilla serves as president of the Argentinean National Oilseed Crushers Association, vice president of the International Association of Seed Crushers and is a director of the Buenos Aires Cereal Exchange and the Rosario Futures Exchange.

He is a graduate of the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Pedro Parente
President and CEO, Bunge Brazil
Mr. Parente is the President and CEO of Bunge Brazil.

Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of Grupo RBS, a leading Brazilian multimedia company that owns TV stations, newspapers and radio stations. Prior to joining Grupo RBS, he served in a variety of posts in the public sector, including Minister of Planning and Deputy Minister of Finance of Brazil.

Mr. Parente has also served as a consultant to the International Monetary Fund and has worked at the Brazilian Central Bank and Banco do Brasil. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Petrobras and Banco do Brasil.

He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Brasília, and is a fellow at the George Washington University Center of Latin American Studies.


Ben Pearcy
Managing Director, Sugar & Bioenergy, Chief Development Officer, Bunge Limited
Mr. Ben Pearcy became Managing Director of Sugar & Bioenergy and Chief Development Officer for Bunge Limited in 2009.

Previously, Mr. Pearcy spent five years at Bunge Europe, most recently as vice president, South East Europe, with responsibility for Bunge’s operations in Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey, and before that as vice president, Eastern Europe, with responsibility for Russia and Ukraine. Over his 13 years with Bunge, Mr. Pearcy has held the position of director, strategic planning for Bunge Limited, based in New York, where he was responsible for global business planning, acquisitions and investments. He also has worked for Bunge in various positions in Brazil and Italy. Before joining Bunge, he worked for management consultants McKinsey & Company in London.

Born on a farm in York, in the north of England, Mr. Pearcy holds a B.A. in Modern History and Economics from Oxford University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.


Soren Schroder
CEO, Bunge North America
Mr. Schroder is CEO of Bunge North America, and leads all of Bunge’s business operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

He joined Bunge in 2000, and has served in variety of agribusiness leadership roles in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Bunge, he worked for over 15 years at Continental Grain and Cargill. He received a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College.


Vicente C. Teixeira
Chief Personnel Officer, Bunge Limited
Mr. Teixeira joined Bunge Limited as Chief Personnel Officer in 2008.

Prior to Bunge, he served as served as director of human resources for Latin America at Dow Chemical and Dow Agrosciences in Brazil, a position he held since 2001.

Before Dow, Mr. Teixeira served as director of human resources and administration for Union Carbide's operations in Latin America and South Africa, starting in 1995. Previously, he had worked at Citibank for 21 years, where he ultimately served as human resources vice president for the company's Brazilian operations.

Mr. Teixeira earned an undergraduate degree in Business Communication and Publicity from Faculdade Integrada Alcantara Machado (FMU/FIAM), a Master of Business Administration from Faculdade Tancredo Neves and an Executive MBA from PDG/EXEC (currently IBMEC) in Brazil.


Christopher White
CEO, Bunge Asia
Mr. White has served as CEO, Bunge Asia, since its formation in 2006. He joined Bunge Limited as Regional General Manager – Asia in March 2003.

Over a previous 20-year career with Bristol Myers Squibb, Mr. White served in various capacities, including President of Mead Johnson Nutritionals Worldwide, President of Mead Johnson Nutritionals and Bristol Myers Consumer Products Asia, and Vice President of Finance and Strategy.

He is a graduate of Yale University.
