Alberto Weisser
CEO and Chairman of the Board, Bunge Limited
Mr. Weisser is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bunge Limited, a global agribusiness and food company. Headquartered in White Plains, New York, Bunge has over 22,000 employees and locations in over 30 countries. It is the world’s leading oilseed processing company, the largest producer and supplier of fertilizers in South America and the world’s leading seller of bottled vegetable oils.

Mr. Weisser joined Bunge as its Chief Financial Officer in July 1993. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1999 and the Chairman and CEO in May 2001. He has served on Bunge’s Board of Directors since May 1997. Mr. Weisser is also a board member of International Paper and Rabobank’s North American Agribusiness Advisory Board. He is also a member of The Council on Foreign Relations and Council of the Americas.

Mr. Weisser has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He has participated in several post-graduate programs at Harvard, INSEAD and other business schools.

Prior to joining Bunge, Mr. Weisser worked for the BASF Group for 15 years in Brazil, Germany, U.S.A. and Mexico.


Mario Barbosa Neto
CEO, Bunge Fertilizantes
Mr. Barbosa Neto has served as CEO of Bunge Fertilizantes and its predecessor company Fertilizantes Serrana, since 1996.

He has over 20 years experience in the Brazilian fertilizer industry. Prior to Serrana, Mr. Barbosa Neto served as superintendent of Fosfertil S.A. from 1992 to 1996 and was the CFO of Manah S.A. from 1980 to 1992.

In addition to serving on the board of directors of Bunge Fertilizantes, he serves as president of the Administrative Council of Fosbrasil S.A.; and is a board member of Fertifós, Ultrafertil, Alpargatas Santista Têxtil and Bunge Alimentos. He is also vice president of the International Fertilizer Association.

Mr. Barbosa Neto holds a B.S. in engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo and an M.B.A. from Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo.

Drew Burke
co-CEO, Bunge Global Agribusiness
Mr. Burke serves as the co-CEO of Bunge Global Agribusiness.  He joined Bunge Limited as managing director, soy ingredients and new business development in January 2002.

He previously served as U.S. CEO of Degussa, a German chemical concern that he joined in 1983. Mr. Burke held a variety of finance and marketing positions at Degussa and also served as the Executive Vice President of its U.S. Chemical Group.  Mr. Burke previously worked for Beecham Pharmaceuticals and Price Waterhouse & Company.

He is a graduate of Villanova University and earned an M.B.A. from Manhattan College.

Jacqualyn A. Fouse
Chief Financial Officer, Bunge Limited
Ms. Fouse is the Chief Financial Officer of Bunge Limited.  In July 2007, she joined Bunge Limited from Alcon, Inc. where she also served as CFO.

Ms. Fouse has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Strategy, at Alcon since 2006, and as SVP and CFO since 2002. She joined Alcon from SAirGroup, where she was CFO from 2001 to 2002. Previously, she held a variety of senior finance positions at Alcon and its majority owner Nestlé SA. She worked at Nestlé from 1993 to 2001, serving as Group Treasurer from 1999 to 2001. She worked at Alcon from 1986 to 1993 and held several positions, including Manager Corporate Investments and Domestic Finance.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Fouse worked at Celanese Chemical and LTV Aerospace and Defense. She earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Jean-Louis Gourbin
CEO, Bunge Europe
Mr. Gourbin was appointed CEO of Bunge Europe in January 2004.

He joined Bunge from the Danone Group, serving since 1999 as president of the company's biscuits and cereal products division.

Previously, Mr. Gourbin worked for more than 15 years with the Kellogg Company, eventually becoming president of Kellogg Europe.  He has also held positions at Ralston Purina and CPC.

Mr. Gourbin holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in economics from the Sorbonne.

Archie Gwathmey
co-CEO, Bunge Global Agribusiness
Mr. Gwathmey serves as the co-CEO of Bunge Global Agribusiness.

He joined Bunge in 1975 as a trainee, and has over 25 years of experience in commodities trading and oilseed processing. During his career with Bunge, Mr. Gwathmey has served as the managing director of the international marketing division and the head of the U.S. grain and oilseed processing divisions. He has also served as a director of the National Oilseed Processors Association.

Mr. Gwathmey graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in classics and English.

Carl Hausmann
CEO, Bunge North America
Mr. Hausmann was appointed CEO of Bunge North America in January 2004.  He was most recently the CEO of Bunge Europe, the position he held since coming to Bunge with the acquisition of Cereol S.A. in 2002.

Mr. Hausmann was previously president and CEO of Cereol.  He has also held chief executive positions with Cereol affiliates Eridania Béghin-Say, Cereol Europe and Central Soya.

Mr. Hausmann began his career in 1978 at Continental Grain, where he worked in South America, Europe, Africa, and the United States.  Mr. Hausmann is a past president of Fediol, the European association of oilseed crushers.

He received a B.S. in business from Boston College and an M.B.A from the INSEAD.

Fernando Kfouri
Managing Director, Food Products, Bunge Limited
Mr. Kfouri joined Bunge Limited as managing director of the company’s food products division in May 2001.

Prior to joining Bunge, Mr. Kfouri worked for 18 years with Joseph E. Seagram and Sons Ltd., serving most recently as president of the company’s Americas division, including general manager of Venezuelan operations.  He has also worked in numerous capacities for General Foods Corp., including as general manager of its Venezuelan operations.

Mr. Kfouri received a degree in business from the Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo.

Sergio Roberto Waldrich
CEO, Bunge Alimentos
Mr. Waldrich has served as the CEO of Bunge Alimentos since 2002.

In 1972, Mr. Waldrich joined Ceval Alimentos, which was acquired by Bunge in 1997. He started as a trainee and worked in various positions over his career with the company, eventually serving as head of the company’s poultry division.

When Bunge spun off the poultry division into Seara Alimentos, a separate company, Mr. Waldrich was named its vice president and general manager. He rejoined Ceval Alimentos in August 2000. In 2002, Mr. Waldrich was named CEO of Bunge Alimentos.

Mr. Waldrich is the former president of the Brazilian Pork Industry Association and the Brazilian Pork Export Association. He holds a degree in chemical engineering from Universidade Regional de Blumenau and an M.B.A. from the University of Florianópolis.

Raul Padilla
CEO, Bunge Argentina
Mr. Padilla joined Bunge in 1991 and is CEO of Bunge Argentina.

He has over 20 years experience in the oilseed processing and grain handling industries in Argentina, beginning his career with La Plata Cereal in 1977.  Mr. Padilla serves as president of the Argentinean National Oilseed Crushers Association, vice president of the International Association of Seed Crushers and is a director of the Buenos Aires Cereal Exchange and the Rosario Futures Exchange.

He is a graduate of the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Vicente C. Teixeira
Chief Personnel Officer, Bunge Limited
Mr. Teixeira joined Bunge Limited as Chief Personnel Officer in 2008.

Prior to Bunge, he served as served as director of human resources for Latin America at Dow Chemical and Dow Agrosciences in Brazil, a position he held since 2001.

Before Dow, Mr. Teixeira served as director of human resources and administration for Union Carbide's operations in Latin America and South Africa, starting in 1995. Previously, he had worked at Citibank for 21 years, where he ultimately served as human resources vice president for the company's Brazilian operations.

Mr. Teixeira earned an undergraduate degree in Business Communication and Publicity from Faculdade Integrada Alcantara Machado (FMU/FIAM), a Master of Business Administration from Faculdade Tancredo Neves and an Executive MBA from PDG/EXEC (currently IBMEC) in Brazil.


Christopher White
CEO, Bunge Asia
Mr. White has served as CEO, Bunge Asia, since its formation in 2006. He joined Bunge Limited as Regional General Manager – Asia in March 2003.

Over a previous 20-year career with Bristol Myers Squibb, Mr. White served in various capacities, including President of Mead Johnson Nutritionals Worldwide, President of Mead Johnson Nutritionals and Bristol Myers Consumer Products Asia, and Vice President of Finance and Strategy.

He is a graduate of Yale University.
