Bunge recently received two awards in recognition of its sustainability and social responsibility programs in Brazil. Bunge Ukraine has launched a new bottled oil that's rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Many people in Ukraine do not get enough of these essential fatty acids in their diet. Bunge employees in Europe developed a vegetable oil that offers a potential market solution to the problem of iodine deficiency in Romania. Bunge recently donated computers to an elementary school in Jiangxi Province in support of Project Hope, which seeks to improve education in China's economically disadvantaged regions. Bunge employees in North America have provided hands-on support to some 20 Progessive Agriculture Farm Safety Days this year.
